The Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) is the largest indigenous Catholic religious congregation for men in India that was founded on 11 May 1831 by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara. Carrying on the legacy of the congregation, the clergy are envisioned to be trend-setters in education and have a widely spread array of institutions around the world. In education, the CMI share the responsibility of the nation to develop socially responsible citizens involved in nation- building.
Christ Academy is dedicated to Jesus Christ the Supreme Guru, who is our guiding light to enlighten every individual who is a part of our academic community. We uphold the CMI vision of education and aim at forming the leaders who are intellectually, spiritually and morally upright and who will strive for the cause of justice, truth and peace. Our mission is to strive to be the light to enlighten the `whole child` in academic and co-curricular spheres.
